The Sanwa HG561H Insulation Resistance Tester is a compact and highly capable device that offers a wide range of features for insulation resistance measurements.
Despite its pocket-sized design, this tester provides a selection of 7 test voltages (15/25/50/100/125/250/500 V) that can be easily chosen and fixed, preventing any inadvertent selection of the higher 500 V option.

The HG561H boasts an all-in-one body design with an integrated probe, allowing users to conveniently view both the probe tip and the display simultaneously. Additional safety features include an auto power-off function that conserves battery life by automatically shutting down after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity, as well as an auto-discharge feature.
When using the MΩ function, the HG561H automatically detects if the probe is applied to a live wire (over 30 V) before pressing the test button. In such cases, the instrument displays the voltage without generating any test voltage, ensuring safety during measurements. With CAT. III 300V, and CAT. II 600V ratings, the HG561H meets the highest safety standards, making it suitable for a wide range of electrical applications.
